The business of HC Siederer Associates was established in 1969. I am a Chartered Surveyor and have always specialised in dealing with construction disputes. I am a chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators having been elected in 1985. I am also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Reliability and professionalism
I have sat as an arbitrator for legal construction issues on some 40 occasions and have represented many parties, appearing as their Lay Advocate before other arbitrators on numerous other occasions.
I have also advised and assisted disputing construction parties many times over the year, frequently succeeding in obtaining a settlement for their dispute without need to go into arbitration or adjudication. This assistance has included the compilation of a claim or alternatively drafting the defence to a claim.
In addition to providing the construction legal services above, I have also assisted lawyers on numerous occasions in the conduct of construction litigation disputes advising them on technical matters and acting as an expert witness.
